actor and playwright
I am a New York-based actor and writer, born in Hartford, CT, and raised in both the U.S. and Shrewsbury, England.
My selected acting credits include The Cripple of Inishmaan (Centenary Stage Company, BroadwayWorld Regional Award nomination) and Sugar!, a feature starring Alice Ripley and Robert Clohessy (Atlantic City Cinefest Award for Best Supporting Actress). I've had the pleasure of working with a number of prominent theater artists, including Lear DeBessonet, John Jesurun, and Tim Carroll.
As a playwright, my work has been produced by Hartford Stage, Troy Foundry Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre, Dixon Place, Spark Creative Works, Mount St. Mary's University, and Exquisite Corpse Company.
I am a proud honors graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
I'm a 2018–2021 playwright in residence at Exquisite Corpse Company! This year, my fellow residents and I co-wrote Zoetrope, which runs May and June in NYC. More information and tickets here.
Zoetrope is a New York Times Critic's Pick! Read the review here.
I created and edited Technical Difficulties: Plays for Online Theatre, now published by Dramatists Play Service. The collection includes my play A Real Estate Opportunity for Your Consideration, as well as work by Mashuq Mushtaq Deen, Steph Del Rosso, Arlene Hutton, John Cameron Mitchell, Craig Pospisil, C. Quintana, Elaine Romero, Aurin Squire, and Ken Urban. Check it out here.
